NO ONE CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS
Our little Josè connects his leash to going out. We do not have to actually connect it to his collar. When we pick It up,and show it to him, he starts walking toward the door.
Josè loves me l, but he knows his master. He knows he is Dons. He does not ask me to let him out, feed him etc. However, he immediately lets him know if his water is gone (which seldom occurs), or if he needs to go out, or its time to eat.
This reminds me of the scripture that no one can serve 2 masters. (Matthew 6:24)
The devil diligently attempts to leash us to him, and get us under his control. (1 Peter 5:8)
However, the good news is, Jesus came to set us free,(John 8:32) and to give us life, and life more abundantly. (John 10:10)
