JEZEBEL IS AFTER YOUR HEAD

When we were pastors Don taught each week in the month of October about the spirits that work feverishly to destroy the work of the ministry. Example: Jezebel, Ahab, Abalone, python, seducing, lying, etc. 

I was asked a few days ago what a Jezebel spirit is! I replied "It is a controlling spirit which tries to take the head  (mouth or voice) of anyone that stands for TRUTH! When you are headed  in the right direction, it will work through people,  places and things to get you to fall into a snare! It can operate through a man or a woman. "

Jezebel was after Elijah, but failed to win against him. However that same Jezebel spirit came after John the Baptist because he stood for TRUTH! Matthew 14:3-12

The Jezebel spirit was further explained in Revelation 2:19-21, as teaching false doctrine, It is still working today to destroy anyone who stands for the TRUTH! 

Revelation 2:19-21

19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Matthew 14:3-12

3 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife.

4 For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her.

5 And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him as a prophet.

6 But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.

7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.

8 And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.

9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at meat, he commanded it to be given her.

10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.

11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.

12 And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.

Heavenly Father, we ask that you open our spiritual eyes and ears, and give us keen discerning of spirits, wisdom and knowledge,  that we may. It be deceived in any way, shape, form or fashion. Thank you Heavenly Father for revealing truth on this subject.
