Kings 7:1-20
IF GOD SAYS IT, HE WILL BRING IT TO PASS
A famine was in land.
Elisha prophesied that on
ToMorrow things would change
The right hand person of the king doubted.
Elisha told him he would not see it happen, but would not eat thereof.
Four lepers were sitting outside the city in the gate of Samaria
The said "Why sit we here and die?"
They went to the Syrians camp but no one was there. The Syrians had fled and left all their 'stuff' because they 'thought' Israel was coming to get them.
The Syrians started eating in one tent, and then hid the 'stuff'. They went to a second tent and did the same thing. Then they said "We do not do well." They were enjoying and keeping and everything
for themselves.
So they went to Samaria and told the porters of the city to tell the king what had happened.
The king thought the Syrians were setting them up and if they went to gather the spoil that the Syrians would capture them; so they sent two chariot horses to check out. They found it was true. The Syrians had fled.
So Israel gathered the spoils and a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel and 2 measures of barley was sold for a shekel just as Elisha had prophesied.
The king had the lord to stand in the gate, and told the people to tread on him. He died. He saw it happen, but did not eat thereof, just as Elisha had prophesied.
LESSON..
Nothing is impossible with God.
He does what he says he will do.
Never laugh at what God says to you directly, or through a man or woman of God.
Do not doubt what God can do.
Also remember
Sarah who laughed when she heard God say she would bear a son.
God heard her.
She denied she laughed
but God said yes she had laughed.
Heavenly Father help us to always believe what you tell us, doubting not, so that we might receive the manifestation.
