CHANGING SEASONS

CHANGING SEASONS
Opal Dalton

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

God makes everything beautiful in His time.  Ecclesiastes 3:11

Life is filled with change.
There is no getting around it.
Some change is exciting!
Some is uncomfortable.
Some is unavoidable
Some comes because of our decisions and choices, but one thing for certain LIFE HAPPENS and SEASONS CHANGE!

Through every season, every life event, every open door and every closed door. ONE THING REMAINS THE SAME! GOD DOES NOT CHANGE as is written in Malachi 3:6.  I am the Lord thy God.  I change not.

Because we were made in the image of the eternal God—and for an eternal relationship with Him—nothing we experience on this side of heaven will permanently silence our desire for something different.

God is  not a distant observer who simply gazes upon the ‘births’ and ‘deaths’ of our lives. He’s a God who lovingly takes every event, even those planned by the enemy for our  demise, and forms them for our good and His glory.

Some seasons in my life have been filled with long, complicated days, however I was supernaturally energized during those times when  I was walking in my calling and assignment, where God wanted  me to be, doing what He wanted.

Hindsight is 20/20 . In seasons during which  God has  stretched  me the most, I can NOW look back and SEE  that I also felt the most fulfilled. Though my time seemed so limited, and my  body tired, in reality I often really enjoyed more free time.

As LIFE CHANGES, this often causes me to put a new frame around my Calling and my season, and to view it from Gods' perspective, not my own.

Doors and transition occur through out all of our life's, which are good and healthy, however which  sometimes leave a feeling of an unfulfilled dream,  desire, mission or a calling that has died at the time. However. during life seasonal changes, Holy Spirit reminds us that the specific calling God has given us will never go away as long as we are alive.

As I reflect on this from a personal standpoint, this means  there are times i need to "Reframe  My Calling",  in other words look at past and also present as though looking at an old picture in a frame and seeing it with 20/20 vision and then ask God to show me His plan for the present, and also for this new season,  lettiNg me view it from it from Gods perspective, not my own, and not what anyone else thinks it should be.

Some seasons are wide-open doors for our passions and calling … and some seasons are closed doors when God asks us to grow spiritually, professionally, relationally, or maybe emotionally.

As we surrender our own will and make ourself  available to God, He reveals His Plan for the present season, so  we can then view our CHANGING SEASONS,  not with sadness, nor of letting go, but with renewed passion, supernaturally fueled.  We can become energized as we view with joy new opportunities  from Gods perspective, as remain confident we are doing what He is leading.

Closed Door Seasons have helped me grow. They provided time to take a new class, a trip, mentor and teach,  often in a new culture. This ultimately led to new Doors which only God could open, and which I would not have had an opportunity to enter if the previous door had not closed.

I share this because perhaps some of you are probably also at a point where you realize you  need to "Reframe and Redefine Your Life Purpose and Calling".  If you will view  it ONLY from God's Perspective, not with  your own personal desires, dreams or plans,  or what anyone else plans or dreams for you, but by allowing God to reveal His plan, you can be sure it will be filled with Gods' good and perfect plan to give you hope and a future.

Yes we know CHANGE IS UNAVOIDABLE!  And also every Season has a TIME LIMIT. But God has purpose for every season of your life. Putting the past behind,  make the decision to move forward, because you don't live there anymore, and can not return there. It is TIME to PUT A NEW FRAME AROUND YOUR NEW SEASON? .

God can give you a new or reframed dream with clear vision in your new season. One thing is certain God will be right there with you . Remember, He is making all things beautiful in His Time.

He can and will open doors you never dreamed possible, He will give you peace and  and also joy, fill every void. Just surrender, and stay available to let Him to put a new Frame on your purpose and calling from His perspective. He views the whole scope of things with perfect vision you know!

Relax! Enjoy! This too shall pass! Just make sure to be prepared for the most important change of all. Your last season, which you know not the time, day not hour it shall begin. Live Ready to meet Jesus
