Receiving Direction From God

Waiting on God for direction

Read the Word of God every day.

Psalm 25:3 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.

You may feel desperate.
But remember, GOD is not desperate

Live a Godly life and you will be rejected. 

You feel this internally. 

Don't let anyone pressure you into making a decision. 

God will give you clear direction.

Don't give up while you wait.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.  

Phillippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Because you don't get clear direction today doesn't mean God is not  listening

Sometimes we have prayed and prayed and have not received clear direction. But sometimes God is softening us up, revealing things in our life that shouldn't be there, and preparing us!

In the process, He draws us close to Himself. He is always working in our hearts.

We need to be persistent in prayer.

God wants us to be able to make wise decisions.

We usually don't realize how God is working until after the decision is made.

We must learn to rest in God's promise.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

When we did not obey because of fear previously, it may now take longer to receive crystal clear direction because God has spoken to us to do something that we did not do.

You can use your God given gifts and talents 'wherever' you are. God opens doors which no man can shut, and closes doors which no man can open. 

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord God. Colossians 3:23-24

If I don't do what the Lord has chosen me to do, He have someone else do it!

Truth Always Prevails

Our 2 oldest girls were fighting when they were small. I asked who did what!!!  Neither would admit they started it, or were the cause of the fight! I told them to remember that the Word says all liars will go to hell. And also that Jesus would tell me the truth! Before going to bed Debi wrote me the cutest and sweetest note which I share below. It is not dated but they were very young. Please note how Debi spelled accidentally!

I will tell you the whole story. Donna axedently dropped the pen and it slung and hit me and I hit her  back.And then she hit me and I hit her with one of my shirts. And then she kicked me and I got on top of her. I'm sorry I lied and please forgive me.

Steppin' Out Blessed

STEPPIN' ....Take the first STEP .... DO 'something' ... Be not a hearer only! Be a DOER of THE WORD! (James 1:22)

OUT ...  Get out of 'your' box! GOD'S ways are not  'your' ways! GOD'S thoughts are not 'your' thoughts! (Isaiah 55:8-11)You can not put GOD in 'your' box! 

BLESSED ...Hearken diligently to the Word of God! Have ears to hear what HE says!  Be teachable! Be obedient! GOD will bless you coming in and going out, rising up and sitting down!  (Deuteronomy 28:1-14) GOD will bless and increase you and your seed to every generation! (Psalm 115:14)

BLESS others! GOD will bless you!

With Whom Are You Walking?

With whom are you walking?  How can 2 walk together except they are agreed?

God gives all of us free will! 

When an idea or a desire is birthed by God many reasons of why it is impossible usually follow. 

However, when God births it, He already has a good plan and way to bring it to manifestation! 

Plus it lines up with His Word! 

We have free will  to control the thoughts in our mind, or to allow them to control us. 

Our words, actions and deeds reveal outwardly the thoughts which we allow to control our mind!  

"Listening ears" united with "loose untamed tongues

"Listening ears" united with "loose untamed tongues" often spread gossip which creates unrepairable damage to others! This can be likened to cutting open a feather pillow, with the wind blowing,  and then attempting to recover all the feathers, which is impossible! 

Challenges

Steppin' Out Blessed as a result of a Challenge is possible! Everyone has Challenges! They show us where and how we need to change, improve and grow!

Challenges may be compared to stones! They can weigh on us like heavy stones, or burdens! They can hinder, detour, delay or even bury us! OR they can be Stepping Stones to a better way, or a better life! 

It all depends on a person's individual Choice of how we interpret each personal Challenge! You and I have the power to choose how we think, react, or respond to each Challenge!

Smile! Be happy! Consider the 'whole' picture! Keep in mind that "This too shall pass!" When you control the Challenge, it won't control you! ! 

Staying focused through difficult, stressful situations and challenges provides adventurous opportunities to grow and also be blessed indeed!

Memories

Thank God for Memories! My good memories far outweigh the bad! Life Happens to all! Challenges in life bring growth and maturity! We each are who and what we are as a result of Choices and Life Experiences! Times of transition bring change! However, Memories remain, never to be erased! I thank God not only for Memories of the past, but also for future Memories which are being made today! I am determined to make as many good ones as I can! :-) 

Obedience

Isaiah 1:19

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

The KEY WORDS here is 'IF' and 'YE'! 

GOD is not influenced by what 'other' people say or think! He will keep His Word to you and I based on our  obedience! NO ONE has more power and authority than GOD!  

One of the biggest problems people have is a result of giving the devil attention and focusing on what 'other' people say and do! When you and I do this, it is feeding into the work of the devil s plans to kill, steal and destroy! 

It is important to stay focused on the Word of God! Regardless of what anyone says or does,  GOD IS STILL GOD and HIS WORD IS STiLL TRUTH! He still judges all! There is no place that anyone can go and nothing they can do to hide from GOD! Remember Jonah? 

The devil loves attention! If you and I give to give it to him, this will hold us back from the fullness of the blessings of the Lord! I actually do not like to mention his name and I refuse to use a capital letter for satan... He is 'nothing' but a big bully and a liar! 

I write this today in the hope of exposing what the REAL problem is behind so much of what is going on today, especially in the church! The TRUTH is, the REAL root of the problem is WITHIN, NOT WITHOUT! 

IF we just take a look in the mirror, we can see a visiual of the who is behind the cause of the majority of our problems and situations. THEN It is up to each of us to recognize this  and DO something about it IF we want CHANGE, each if us must CHANGE ourself first, otherwise satan will continue his work to steal, kill and destroy! 

From the Beginning of time there has always been people who are influenced by, and manifesting the works of the flesh! (Galations 5:19-21). There always will be as long as the earth remains! 

Romans 8:31

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

(Keyword is FALSELY! If it is FALSELY, GOD KNOWS and HE WILL judge righteous judgement). There are NO exceptions for GOD has NO respect of persons

What is GOD'S will??? For you and I to stay focused on Him, obedient to Him, trusting in His Word and always giving thanks to Him, REGARDLESS!

An Exciting Lunch

Allowing God to lead and guide you through out the day is so exciting! He often interrupts our plans with the unexpected which can turn out to be a great blessing. 

Yesterday was such a day! By a divine appointment (which I had no knowledge was on my schedule), I met and had lunch with 3 sisters! Each of us recognized that God put the plan together for our pathways to cross! The delay in me finding the location resulted in us being there at the same time.  I 'thought' my reason for going there was to gather information for a future Steppin Out Blessed event, BUT after I arrived I decided to try a bowl of soup! 

Upon sitting down, I met the 3 sisters who were seated across from me. They asked me, a complete stranger,  to move over to their table. We shared and shared and shared! 

The waitress said she had never seen this happen before! I told her it happens to me all the time, beleive it or not! It was a divine appointment! One sister, Donna,  has been diagnosed with lung, lymph node and brain cancer. She just began chemo! She is believing for a healing miracle! I stand in agreement with her! And I ask you who are my prayer partners to join with me and believe for this healing to manifest speedily for Donna in Jesus name! Thank you! God bless you.

TIME OUT

If your life has so much ' 'busyness' that it has become burdensome, unbalanced, priorities have changed, relationships are suffering, etc, there is a solution... TIME OUT! Return to God! He has A PLAN  which He has designed especially for YOU! Consider this Food For Thought and have a blessed and happy Tuesday!

SMILE

Several  years ago, a clerk at a store said as I walked in the door, "I love to see you walk through our door"! I looked at her wondering  why".  She added "You always come in with a smile on your  face and I know you can't always feel like smiling, bur it makes my day!"

I am often reminded of her words, and I ask myself, "What do others see IN me?"  "Do they see and feel, the genuine love,  peace and joy of the Lord radiating and flowing out of me?" "How can I be a blessing to someone today?" 

What you and I did yesterday is past. Today, is a new day. We must work the work we are sent to do while it is TODAY,  for night quickly approaches when noone can work!

As the apostles said "Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have, give I unto thee.", so say I.  The  love, joy and peace that only Jesus can give can be shared with others! Sometimes, it only takes a SMILE to open a door  resulting in a 'forever' CHANGED life!

If The Devil Had Known

If the devil had known how much the gospel would be increased and spread abroad worldwide, and access made for every soul to inherit the Kingdom of God (if you so choose), he would not have plotted to kill Jesus. Be encouraged this day for the battle is the Lord's, and it is already won! So hold fast and protect the joy of the Lord, and the peace of God in your heart, soul, mind and body. Keep the praises of the Lord on your lips. Put on your dancing shoes! The best is yet to come! The wells of water and palm trees are in our reach! Rejoice and again I say rejoice! We are victorious through the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony! Praise the Lord! He that hath ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is speaking this day!

The MIND

The mind is the devil's playground. He and his counter parts (his army) are diligent and persistent in their efforts to kill, steal, lie, deceive, and seduce. They sre on a mission, with a zeal, purpose and goal to destroy souls. The only way the enemy knows how much he is accomplishing is by how we react in word and deed to his fiery darts and bad seeds he throws at our mind. We CAN stop the work of the enemy by taking him captive in our mind and stopping him in his tracks. Have a blessed Tuesday.
