There Is Nothing New Under The Sun

I share with you a few scriptures we should consider as we enter the NEW year of 2008. Several years ago, a revelation came to me regarding these and also other portions of scripture. What may be NEW to you or NEW to me is not actually something that is new to someone else.

Whatever we do, has been done in some form or fashion in the past. For example. Consider Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

God had already made a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert in the past. But He was saying to a people through Isaiah (and also to us now), that although it may be NEW to you or me, He has done it before and He will do it again. Please read the scriptures I share in this Post and allow Holy Spirit to speak to you regarding NEW things.

Is God your source of Provision? Consider that whatever you need, God has already made provision. He has provided this for others. He has no respect of persons. He will provide for you. Also,whatever you set out to do may be NEW to you, but consider that someone else has already done it before you. God is just requiring that it be done again as the scriptures below reveal.

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be;
and that which is done is that which shall be done:
and there is no new thing under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 1:9

And I turned myself to behold wisdom, and madness,
and folly: for what can the man do that cometh after
the king? even that which hath already been done.
Ecclesiastes 2:12

That which has been is now; and that which is to be
hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
Ecclesiastes 3:15
